TechFlow reports that a recent survey by Tools For Humanity (TFH) of World ID holders in South Korea shows overwhelming support for the Worldcoin project and proof-of-humanity technology. Among more than 1,100 respondents, over 90% believe technologies like World ID—which can distinguish humans from robots—are necessary. 84% agree that South Korea should become a global hub for such innovations. 86% are already comfortable using biometric authentication for banking, healthcare services, and device logins. 85% believe Worldcoin can help create a safer internet environment, and 88% agree that Worldcoin technology will positively impact their digital interactions.
Meanwhile, Worldcoin is making new progress in Asia, having signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysia’s government agency for applied research and development to integrate Worldcoin technology into the country’s digital infrastructure. The collaboration aims to provide individuals with verifiable human identity, and may include joint manufacturing of Orb devices and connecting World Chain with Malaysia’s national blockchain infrastructure.
