TechFlow reports that Sonic Labs (formerly Fantom) has announced the launch of the Sonic Boom rewards program, aimed at attracting top-tier projects and promoting the development of key applications within its ecosystem. The program will distribute Sonic Gems to up to 30 winning projects as part of a $S token airdrop. The total airdrop amount is 190,500,000 $S tokens, with 37.5% allocated to Gem holders. Winning projects will be divided into three tiers: Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby, with up to 10 winners in each tier.
The rewards program covers multiple categories including lending, NFTs, tools, payments, stablecoins, yield, gaming, exchanges, DePIN and AI, as well as community initiatives. Projects will be evaluated based on concept, execution, impact, and points strategy.
Winning projects must deploy on the upcoming Sonic testnet and launch within 7 days after mainnet goes live. The application deadline is November 1, and winners will be announced on November 4.
