TechFlow news, SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci said in an exclusive interview with Cointelegraph that presidential candidate Kamala Harris could lose the U.S. election due to failing to attract voters who support cryptocurrency.
Scaramucci believes that even if there are only 25 million cryptocurrency holders in the United States, a single-issue voter base representing just 5% of them could influence election outcomes in swing states.
As former White House Communications Director under the Trump administration, Scaramucci acknowledged that the Democratic Party's stance on the crypto industry has been a "disaster." However, despite much of the crypto community seemingly backing Trump due to his pro-crypto position, Scaramucci argues that Trump is not the ideal candidate for the crypto space.
He stated that Trump is extremely transaction-oriented and might support crypto today but oppose it tomorrow. Scaramucci believes Trump aims to create an "oligarchic situation," which would weaken U.S. capital markets and America's standing in the world.
