TechFlow news, Jupiter co-founder Meow announced yesterday that based on community feedback, the platform will improve how token permission warnings are displayed. Key changes include:
-
Using a less prominent FYI icon for all tokens verified by the team or community;
-
Removing special treatment for USDC/USDT;
-
Updating hover text to better explain the necessity of freeze permissions;
-
Creating documentation on Jupiter Station detailing freeze permissions and linking it within the app;

Meow stated these changes aim to ensure fairness across all tokens while maintaining security, avoiding excessive user alarm, and advancing essential education.
