TechFlow News, researcher Adam from Greeks.live tweeted that 24,000 BTC options are expiring, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.83, maximum pain point at $59,500, and notional value of $1.4 billion.
184,000 ETH options are expiring, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.80, maximum pain point at $2,650, and notional value of $470 million.
Options expiring this week account for about 10% of total open interest. Currently, open interest for August, September, and December contracts are relatively close, each around 20% or slightly higher. Judging from options data, the maturity distribution is relatively even and the term structure remains stable. Recently, the options market’s expectation of future volatility has been gradually decreasing, indicating the market may be entering a more stable phase.
