TechFlow News, August 15 — According to the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, American venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) announced it will establish its first Asian office in Japan. Corporations including NTT Group have already invested in its recently launched fund. A16z is positioning Japan, with its active corporate investments in startups, as an alternative funding source to China.
