TechFlow reports that the cryptocurrency project Holograph has announced significant progress in the investigation of the June 13 hack incident. After two months of intensive collaboration between France's Office for Cybercrime Prevention (OFAC), BRI, Europol, Italy's Anti-Mafia Investigation Service, and the Royal Cayman Islands Police, multiple suspects have been arrested in Italy, with French authorities assisting in the operation.
As part of the operation, substantial assets and electronic devices have been frozen and seized. The suspects will soon be extradited to France to face charges. Due to the ongoing investigation, and at the request of French authorities, the identities of the suspects remain temporarily undisclosed.
The Holograph team stated that broader investigations are still underway, and they will share further updates regarding asset recovery for the Holograph ecosystem as developments occur.
