TechFlow reports that Grass, a decentralized internet infrastructure project, has announced the end of its closed beta phase and is moving toward network decentralization and token airdrop.
The project is currently taking snapshots to determine eligibility for the upcoming airdrop. Users' network participation, weighted by epoch, will serve as the basis for rewards.
To encourage users to download the new desktop node application, Grass has launched a limited-time incentive period. The new desktop app is more efficient than the Lite Node, consuming less than 5% of Chromium browser resources while handling 10 times the bandwidth.
In the coming weeks, Grass will release more information regarding airdrop eligibility checks and token economics.
