TechFlow news — Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said in a CNBC interview that U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential campaign team is actively engaging with the cryptocurrency industry to gain a deeper understanding of related policies.
Allaire stated, "Both the government and Harris's campaign team are making efforts to understand the industry's issues, key players, and policy matters."
Allaire emphasized that cryptocurrency has become a significant issue for both major political parties. In contrast, Republican nominee Donald Trump has already incorporated crypto into his campaign platform and directly addressed crypto users at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in July.
The two candidates are expected to discuss their economic policies, including their stances on digital assets, during the televised debate on September 10.
