TechFlow news: The Mantle core contributor team has proposed a new budget for the 12-month period from July 2024 to June 2025. The new budget totals $52 million in USDx and 200 million MNT, representing an increase from the previous period to provide greater flexibility for business expansion.
The budget primarily covers human resources, general administration, marketing, ecosystem and developer programs, as well as infrastructure and security services. Notably, fundraising activities, bridged liquidity, gas costs, and non-USDx/MNT expenses are excluded from the budget cap.
Mantle stated that actual spending may be significantly lower than the cap and will continue to publish monthly expenditure reports regularly via the Treasury Monitor.
In addition, the annual budget can be proportionally extended by up to three months to allow time for discussion and approval of the next budget cycle. Mantle has made significant progress over the past 18 months, including mainnet launch, the introduction of its LSP product, and continuous ecosystem growth.
