TechFlow news — Cryptocurrency trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio shared his thoughts on the SUI blockchain. Eugene pointed out that the current crypto market lacks substantial events, causing traders to seek new narratives to speculate on.
He noted that while the "SOL killer" trading theme is appealing, SUI still lacks the structural foundation to support organic activity and isn't worth holding long-term. He stated that although some people urged him to buy Sui below $0.90, he is not interested.
He emphasized that if SUI is the best "SOL killer" the market can come up with, then SOL is likely to continue rising in the long run, as no other public blockchain currently comes close to SOL. Eugene also mentioned he is not shorting SUI, calling such a move "unwise."
