TechFlow news — On August 9, Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss questioned on X why U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris did not attend the previous day's cryptocurrency roundtable: "Can someone explain why Kamala Harris didn't attend the crypto roundtable yesterday? I know she's campaigning, but the meeting was virtual. All she needed was an internet connection. Technical difficulties?"
In response, Forbes journalist Eleanor Terrett noted that the meeting was originally intended to focus on the "current administration," not the "Harris campaign." One attendee revealed that an official had clarified this point at the start of the meeting. This may also explain the absence of Anita Dunn, Biden’s senior advisor, who has shifted from the government team to Harris’s campaign team.
