TechFlow reports, blockchain security firm Cyvers Alerts said its system detected suspicious transactions in the proxy contract of Nexera, an on-chain order book protocol.
According to Cyvers Alerts, an unknown address gained ownership of Nexera's proxy contract and upgraded it. Subsequently, the address used the withdrawal management function to transfer all $NXRA tokens.
These stolen tokens are now being swapped for $ETH, with some funds already transferred to the $BNB chain. Cyvers Alerts estimates the total loss from this incident at approximately $1.5 million.
