TechFlow news, on August 6, according to official social media, DuckChain announced it has received support from Arbitrum and will adopt the Arbitrum Orbit solution to build the first Layer 2 based on the TON ecosystem, helping address current challenges such as high development barriers and isolated liquidity within the TON ecosystem.
DuckChain, incubated by TONSCALE LABS, is the first fully EVM-Compatible Layer 2 built on the TON ecosystem, and also the first non-Ethereum ecosystem L2 to receive support from Arbitrum. DuckChain aims to bring the EVM development framework into the TON ecosystem while introducing liquidity from the Bitcoin ecosystem, accelerating large-scale application adoption on TON.
Previous report, Arbitrum proposed allowing Orbit chains to be deployed on any blockchain, with an estimated 10% of profits returned to the Arbitrum ecosystem; this proposal has now been officially approved.
