TechFlow reported, according to mempool data, a semi-empty block appeared on the Bitcoin network at block height 855363 (at 22:42 Beijing time), with an interval of only 75 seconds from the previous block.
mempool founder @mononautical analyzed this phenomenon on social media. He pointed out that all transactions in this semi-empty block were broadcast approximately one minute before it was mined. @mononautical speculated that the block might have been mined by a brand-new node that accidentally entered production without fully synchronizing its mempool.
