TechFlow news: On July 31, Mt.Gox issued an announcement revealing another round of Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) repayments to certain restructuring creditors. This marks the latest distribution following previous payouts on July 5, 16, and 24, 2024.
According to the announcement, this repayment was conducted through designated cryptocurrency exchanges and other channels in accordance with the restructuring plan. To date, the Mt.Gox estate trustee has completed BTC and BCH distributions to over 17,000 restructuring creditors.
For other eligible restructuring creditors who have not yet received repayment, Mt.Gox stated that disbursements will be made as soon as possible upon fulfillment of the following conditions:

Verification of registered account validity and other relevant matters;

Expression of intent by designated cryptocurrency exchanges or other entities to accept agency receipt arrangements;

Completion of discussions between the trustee and designated cryptocurrency exchanges or other entities regarding distribution logistics;

Confirmation that repayments can be securely and reliably executed.
Mt.Gox urges eligible restructuring creditors to remain patient.
