TechFlow reports, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams criticized MetaMask's transaction submission mechanism in a social media post this morning. Adams stated that the simplest and most effective way to reduce MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) impact on Uniswap users is to allow Uniswap to handle transaction submissions directly, rather than forcing all transactions signed within its wallet to be submitted through MetaMask's RPC and OFA (possibly referring to OpenSea's Orderflow Auction).
He revealed that the Uniswap team has made this request to MetaMask multiple times, but was repeatedly rejected, calling the practice detrimental to both users and the broader industry.
