TechFlow reports that TRON DAO, together with HTX DAO, BTTC, and JustLend DAO, has announced the launch of HackaTRON Season 7, a hackathon event with submissions due by October 24, Beijing time. This season features five tracks: Web3, Art, DeFi, Builders, and Integrations, offering a total prize pool of up to $650,000, including $500,000 worth of TRX tokens and $150,000 in energy rewards.
Winners in each track will be selected through a combination of judge evaluations and community voting, with the first-place winner receiving $25,000 worth of TRX. Google Cloud is serving as the diamond sponsor, providing cloud service support for the event. Other sponsors include Mobilum, Pentagon Games, and GT-Protocol.
Key event dates are as follows: submission period (July 25 to October 8), judging and community voting period (October 24 to 31), winners announcement (November 13), Demo Week (November 18–22), and mainnet launch (December 3). TRON DAO officially kicked off HackaTRON Season 7 with a launch party in Nashville on July 25.
