TechFlow news — According to Reuters, U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced it has added three new members to its board of directors to strengthen its influence on U.S. crypto policy. The new members are:

Chris Lehane: Member of the executive team at OpenAI, developer of ChatGPT;

Paul Clement: Former U.S. Solicitor General under President George W. Bush;

Christa Davies: CFO of Aon and also a board member of Stripe and Workday.
This expansion increases Coinbase’s board size from seven to ten members. The "Stand With Crypto" initiative, backed by Coinbase, has now attracted 1.3 million members. Meanwhile, three major pro-cryptocurrency super political action committees (Fairshake, Defend American Jobs, and Protect Progress) have raised over $230 million to support favorable candidates.
