TechFlow News: Former U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee this Saturday and deliver a keynote speech. Trump's campaign team revealed that they have raised over $4 million in campaign funds through digital tokens.
According to Federal Election Commission filings, the "Trump 47" joint fundraising committee raised more than $118 million between April 1 and June 30, including at least $2.15 million in Bitcoin donations. The Winklevoss twins each donated approximately $1 million worth of Bitcoin.
Trump has recently positioned himself as a pro-cryptocurrency presidential candidate, a shift from his stance during his time in the White House. He has pledged to protect the rights of self-hosted cryptocurrency holders and stated that, if he returns to the White House, all future Bitcoin mining will take place within the United States.
