Even though his keynote speech is still two days away, brightly colored baseball caps already dot the venue, highlighting the presence of his supporters. Some attendees say Trump's influence could bring more credibility and a larger platform to Bitcoin.
Outside the venue, a so-called "MAG-wag" truck is promoting a meme coin themed around Trump’s vice-presidential pick, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance. This Ethereum-based token project has even extended its advertising into the conference restrooms.
The event also features numerous slogans adapted from Trump’s most popular political phrases, such as “Make Bitcoin Great Again.” Some Bitcoin enthusiasts are excited about Trump being this year’s most anticipated speaker, hoping his address will push Bitcoin further into the mainstream and potentially boost its price.
