TechFlow news — Institutional-grade cryptocurrency custodian Hex Trust recently announced it has received in-principle approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license.
The license will allow Hex Trust to provide "digital payment token services" in Singapore, including custody and over-the-counter trading of digital payment tokens. Alessio Quaglini, co-founder and CEO of Hex Trust, said the company is pleased to strengthen its operations in Singapore, a hub for financial technology innovation.
