TechFlow news — Grass, a decentralized internet service provider, has announced the launch of an invite-only beta version of its Desktop Node. The new node consumes less than 5% of the resources used by the Chromium browser and offers 10 times the bandwidth processing capacity compared to the Chrome extension version. Users running the desktop node will receive double network points, reflecting the node's high uptime, low latency, and priority routing.
Initial test invitations have been sent to select user groups, including GigaBuds. Grass stated that this move aims to empower users to regain control over their bandwidth resources and counteract the abuse of privileges by middleware companies.
