TechFlow reports that Coinbase has announced the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved applications for nine spot Ethereum ETFs. This marks another significant milestone for the cryptocurrency industry in expanding access and diversification. As a trusted partner and custodian, Coinbase supports 10 out of 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs and 8 out of the newly approved 9 spot Ethereum ETFs.
Coinbase stated that spot ETFs will help drive further growth and innovation in the crypto market, expanding its scale and breadth. The Ethereum ecosystem boasts over 15 million monthly active addresses, with smart contract deployments growing 300% in 2023.
