TechFlow reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has notified at least two companies applying to launch the first spot Ethereum ETFs in the United States that their products can begin trading on July 23. ETFs from eight firms, including BlackRock and VanEck, will start trading tonight at 9:30 PM Beijing time on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Nasdaq, and the New York Stock Exchange.
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said the spot Ethereum ETFs have now become effective with the SEC, and the 424(b) filings are being submitted sequentially, marking that everything is ready and trading is about to commence.
