TechFlow reported on July 21 that Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX has disclosed details of a bounty program aimed at recovering assets stolen during a recent hacking incident. The program consists of two parts:
1. Tracking and Freezing Program: Offers a reward of up to $10,000 worth of USDT for providing actionable intelligence leading to the freezing of stolen funds;
2. White-Hat Recovery Program: Promises a white-hat reward of 5% of the recovered amount for successful fund recovery.
WazirX stated that the initial duration of the bounty program is three months, though it may be adjusted based on actual circumstances. Earlier reports indicated that WazirX suffered a hack resulting in the theft of approximately $230 million in assets.
