TechFlow news, July 19 — According to CoinDesk, crypto firm Galaxy Digital announced the acquisition of nearly all Ethereum assets from blockchain node operator CryptoManufaktur LLC (CMF). The transaction involves approximately $1 billion in Ethereum assets, increasing Galaxy's staked Ethereum holdings by about 43% and bringing its total staked assets to $3.3 billion.
CryptoManufaktur founder Thorsten Behrens will join Galaxy's blockchain infrastructure team, providing staking and blockchain validator services for qualified investors, protocols, and digital asset platforms. Zane Glauber, Head of Galaxy’s Blockchain Infrastructure, said: “Galaxy is rapidly expanding its blockchain infrastructure and staking capabilities. The acquisition of CMF marks a significant milestone in strengthening our position as a technology partner for protocols and developers.”
