TechFlow reports, citing foreign media, that organizers of the upcoming Bitcoin conference where Trump is set to attend are enhancing security measures in preparation for a record-breaking audience. After attendance declined during the Bitcoin bear market, this year's event is expected to surpass last year's figure of approximately 12,000 attendees and may even rival the over 25,000 attendees seen in 2022, potentially setting a new record.
Brandon Green, chief of staff for the conference organizers, said ticket sales have accelerated since the announcement of Trump’s attendance, with final attendance projected between 20,000 and 45,000. The event could offer a unique "symbiotic" opportunity for both the Bitcoin industry and political figures. According to The Washington Post, one of the conference founders promised Trump that attending could generate $15 million in revenue.
