TechFlow news, according to The Block, U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel has ordered the sentence of Ethereum developer Virgil Griffith reduced from 63 months to 56 months.
In April 2022, U.S. prosecutors stated that Castel violated sanctions laws by traveling to North Korea in 2019 to deliver a presentation and provide technical advice on using cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to evade sanctions, resulting in a 63-month prison sentence.
