TechFlow News — According to an official announcement from Huobi HTX, all $HTX tokens repurchased in the second-quarter trading mining program have been fully destroyed. A total of 7,791,971,428,156 $HTX were burned, equivalent to approximately 9,000,000 USDT. The on-chain hash for the burn transaction is: 79d65bb23e6172da8a5caeb61ca43f67513e023c347c557e117532566bd142af.
In Q2 2024, Huobi HTX hosted six trading mining events involving BTC and ETH, with over 20,000 participants. Nearly 8 trillion $HTX were repurchased and destroyed during this period. Moving forward, Huobi HTX will announce the amount of $HTX repurchased and destroyed from the previous quarter’s trading mining activities on the 15th of the first month of each quarter, further enhancing openness and transparency.
The Huobi HTX trading mining program aims to improve user trading experience, reduce trading costs, support wealth growth, and effectively decrease the circulating supply of $HTX. Users can participate by trading designated spot or perpetual contract pairs to share in a substantial daily prize pool. Throughout the event, all fees generated from eligible spot trading pairs, as well as fees from perpetual contract trading pairs contributed by registered users, are used for $HTX buybacks.
