TechFlow reports that CoinStats has released a new update regarding the security incident on June 22, revealing that attackers gained unauthorized access to private keys of 1,590 CoinStats wallets, resulting in approximately $2.2 million worth of cryptocurrency being stolen. No connected wallets or exchanges were affected. As of July 3, 2024, all CoinStats functions have been fully restored and are operating normally. The investigation into the full scope of the breach is ongoing. On June 24, the CoinStats CEO previously stated that around $2 million across all affected wallets had been stolen.
