TechFlow reported on July 8 that according to Oriental Daily, Futu Securities, an internet broker, has had its Type 1 regulated activity (securities trading) license upgraded by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, allowing it to provide virtual asset trading services to both professional and retail investors in Hong Kong. On Saturday last week (the 6th), Futu launched a new "Integrated Account" feature, enabling investors to trade investment products across multiple markets—including Hong Kong stocks, US stocks, Stock Connect A-shares, and Japanese stocks—through a single account. The company also announced plans to gradually introduce Singaporean, Australian, and Canadian stocks, though no specific timetable has been disclosed.
