TechFlow reported, according to The Block, that Pump.fun, a memecoin launch platform built on Solana, has generated over $50 million in cumulative revenue. Data from DefiLlama shows the platform earned more than $598,000 in the past 24 hours.
Pump.fun has rapidly risen during the recent memecoin surge, leveraging its user-friendly interface and Solana's low transaction fees to help launch over 1.18 million memecoins. Although the platform's daily fees have declined recently due to unfavorable market conditions, its high activity levels and substantial fee income reflect strong user engagement and contribute significant economic activity to the Solana network.
In the meantime, Dexscreener has launched Moonshot, a competing Solana-based memecoin launch platform, which has already generated nearly $500,000 in revenue within its first week.
