TechFlow news: Japan's largest Web3 media outlet, CoinPost, announced that Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will attend the international Web3 conference "WebX 2024," hosted by CoinPost and the general incorporated association WebX Executive Committee. The event will take place on August 28–29, 2024, at Prince Park Tower Tokyo, and is expected to attract top global Web3 projects, entrepreneurs, investors, and developers.
This conference comes amid the Japanese government's recent strong push to foster a Web3 environment, including initiatives such as the Prime Minister's call for foreign investment in Japan during his visit to London, the Cabinet Office's Web3 policies, NTT Docomo's large-scale investments, and the Liberal Democratic Party's Web3 white paper—all aimed at leveraging Web3 technology to drive digital transformation and global expansion across Japanese industries.
