TechFlow reports, according to CryptoSlate, Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, has received over 8 BTC (approximately $500,000) in anonymous donations, covering the chartered flight cost for his return to Australia. After reaching a plea deal with U.S. authorities, Assange’s wife Stella launched an urgent fundraising campaign to raise $520,000 required by the Australian government for the chartered flight. One anonymous donor contributed over 8 bitcoins (around $500,000) within the past day, nearly covering the entire expense. Assange is expected to return to Australia following a court appearance on Saipan, marking the end of his more than decade-long legal battle.
