TechFlow News, Mantle announced the launch of $cmETH and $COOK starting July 1, 2024.
With the passing of MIP-30, $cmETH will become the new liquid restaking token (LRT), marking an upgraded evolution from $mETH. $COOK is introduced as the new governance token for Mantle LSP. Season 1 will begin on July 1 and last 100 days.
Users can collect $mETH on the collaboration campaign to earn Powder, preparing for the future upgrade to $cmETH. Powder can be converted into $COOK. Users holding $mETH will have their existing positions automatically indexed at the start of Methamorphosis on Mantle LSP.
In addition, locking $MNT will grant eligibility for future $COOK rewards. $cmETH will expand restaking opportunities across Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, offering optimized yields alongside $COOK rewards for governance participation.
