TechFlow news — Ava Protocol (formerly Oak Network), an Active Validation Service (AVS) on the EigenLayer Web3 automation platform, has announced the acquisition of blockchain data startup Openstory. The acquisition amount has not been disclosed and was made prior to the launch of the Ava Protocol mainnet and its token. The purchase consideration consists of cash and AP tokens, which are Ava Protocol’s native tokens yet to be launched.
Ava Protocol plans to launch on the Ethereum mainnet as an EigenLayer AVS within three weeks. Following the mainnet launch, the protocol’s native AP token is expected to roll out within 2–3 months.
