TechFlow reports that NFT marketplace Magic Eden has announced Mempool Protection for Runes and Inscriptions, along with plans to roll out additional RBF features.
According to the announcement, if a user's transaction is replaced or hijacked, Mempool Protection will automatically broadcast an additional transaction on their behalf at a higher fee rate. While it cannot completely prevent front-running, it reduces the likelihood of being front-run and increases the cost (in fees and time) for attackers attempting to do so.
