TechFlow reports that Taiko, an Ethereum Layer 2 network based on zkRollup, has officially launched its Trailblazers Incentive Program. The first season features a prize pool of 12 million TAIKO tokens, with 10 million allocated to users and 2 million distributed to dApps built on Taiko, running for a duration of three months.
Taiko stated that users can earn XP by performing activities on-chain such as bridging ETH and ERC-20 tokens, transaction volume, and number of transactions. For ecosystem partners, there will be a separate leaderboard tracking metrics including unique active wallets, total transaction volume, gas used, and TVL.
In addition, there is a daily cap on the amount of points one can earn in each category. At the start of each new season, every user's XP will be reset. However, users from the previous season will receive a small bonus based on their prior season's XP. At the end of each season, all eligible participants can claim their rewards. The reward claiming period will remain open for 30 days.
