TechFlow reports that Talos, a crypto trading software provider, has announced the acquisition of DeFi platform Skolem. The deal size and other terms were not disclosed, but Talos said Skolem will help expand its on-chain capabilities and connect its institutional clients to more decentralized finance (DeFi) services.
Talos, a unicorn-backed crypto trading software provider supported by heavyweight investors including Citigroup and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), said in a statement to The Block that the acquisition "helps Talos expand our on-chain capabilities, provide clients with access to more DeFi liquidity pools, and extend our PMS [Portfolio Management Services] offering to include DeFi services." Anton Katz, co-founder and CEO of Talos, made the comment.
