TechFlow reports that, according to a statement on May 29, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol—entities in the decentralized artificial intelligence space—announced plans to complete the merger forming the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) by June 2024. This merger will consolidate the native tokens of these AI-focused protocols into the ASI token, which has a total supply of 2.63055 billion tokens. As of May 28, the new token's market capitalization stood at $5.8 billion.
Holders of FET tokens can migrate to ASI via the token migration contract before June 11. Similarly, holders of SingularityNET's AGIX and Ocean Protocol's OCEAN tokens can exchange their tokens before June 13. The merger is expected to be completed within three months of the initial proposal.
