TechFlow news: Lido has proposed expanding the Simple DVT module, including enabling the creation of larger node operator clusters (called Super Simple DVT Clusters) and increasing the module's maximum target share from 0.5% to 4%.
In addition, the proposal involves researching how to provide additional rewards to users and protocols through increased DVT validators. This will help solidify stETH as the most secure and decentralized LST and strengthen its position within the DeFi and LRT ecosystems.
The expansion of the Simple DVT module will facilitate the onboarding of the first independent and community stakers, expected to further enhance the resilience, security, and infrastructure distribution of Lido-related validators. By increasing the target share and introducing Super Simple DVT Clusters, DVT adoption can be better accelerated while delivering fair economic benefits to participants, DVT providers, and the DAO.
