TechFlow news — Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, currently detained in Nigeria, fainted during his trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja over charges of alleged foreign exchange violations and money laundering brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to local media reports, Gambaryan's legal representative, Mark Mordi, informed the court on May 22 that Gambaryan has been unwell since the last court session and continues to suffer from health issues. Following the sudden collapse, Mordi requested a adjournment so his client could receive medical treatment. The court subsequently scheduled cross-examination and further proceedings for June 20 and 21.
Previously, the Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria, rejected the bail application of Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan. Judge Emeka Nwite ruled that Gambaryan poses a flight risk.
