At least eight House Democratic members have publicly backed the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act (FIT21), and they may recruit more members, according to a memo shared by congressional aides with CoinDesk. The bill is scheduled for full debate and vote later on Wednesday. "As Democrats, we believe this is a critical opportunity to responsibly regulate digital asset markets," the eight lawmakers wrote in an internal memo on Tuesday, calling on their colleagues for support.
