TechFlow reported, according to Nigeria's National Newspaper, that the Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria, has rejected the bail application of Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, who is on trial for alleged money laundering. In Friday's ruling, Judge Emeka Nwite stated that Gambaryan poses a flight risk.
Judge Nwite agreed with prosecution lawyer Ekele Iheanacho, noting it would be unwise to grant Gambaryan bail, given that one of his co-defendants, Nadeem Anjarwalla, Binance's regional manager for Africa, had previously escaped from detention.
