TechFlow news — Hack VC, the Web3 venture capital firm that co-led Eclipse's $50 million Series A funding round, expressed deep concern regarding allegations of sexual harassment against Eclipse founder Neel Somani. The firm emphasized it does not tolerate any form of sexual harassment or misconduct involving Hack VC, and holds founders and portfolio companies to the same high standards.
Hack VC, together with other investors and team members, has urged Neel Somani to step down. They reaffirmed strong confidence in the Eclipse team and its mission, and fully support Vijay Chetty as the new CEO, believing he is the ideal leader to move the project forward.
Earlier on March 11, Layer 2 developer Eclipse Labs announced it had closed a $50 million Series A funding round led by Placeholder and Hack VC.
