TechFlow reports that Salim Ramji, former BlackRock executive in charge of global iShares, will succeed Tim Buckley as CEO of Vanguard on July 8.
He stated that Vanguard will not launch its own spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). He emphasized the importance of consistency in the company's stance and product offerings. Ramji did not comment on the company's decision not to provide clients with trading access. Prior to this, he had been instrumental in推动 the company’s move toward launching a bitcoin ETF and left the firm in January.
