TechFlow news, according to an official announcement, Sei will roll out its V2 upgrade in three phases, aiming to launch the first highly scalable parallelized EVM.
Specifically, the three phases are governance, Alpha release, and V2 readiness. During the governance phase, Sei Labs engineers will initiate an on-chain proposal to start the governance approval process. If approved, validators will begin upgrading their node software, and the existing Sei Pacific-1 mainnet will be upgraded to "V2". The Alpha release phase will focus on chain stability and the deployment of third-party infrastructure, including RPC nodes, bridges, indexers, and multi-sig tools. Once core infrastructure is ready, the network will enter the V2 readiness phase.
Sei stated that the V2 upgrade marks a significant milestone toward its goal of building a blockchain capable of supporting consumer-grade applications for millions of users.
