TechFlow reports that zkSync Developers announced the zkSync v24 mainnet upgrade, originally scheduled for May 13, is now expected to take place around 16:00 on May 16 and will be completed within 24 hours after initiation.
The zkSync v24 mainnet upgrade includes features such as the new P256Verify precompile and zkSync Bridgehub—an essential component unlocking interoperability across all ZK Stack chains.
Regarding ZK Stack, protocol work supporting Validium, custom DA layers, and custom base tokens has also been completed, along with some upcoming server changes.
