TechFlow reports, according to CoinDesk, after Vladimir Putin won his fifth term as Russian president, exiled Russian opposition leader Mark Feygin is launching a blockchain-powered anonymous referendum challenging the legitimacy of Putin's victory in the Russian election.
The vote aims to leverage the Arbitrum blockchain and zero-knowledge encryption technology to ensure voters' identities remain untraceable. Although the voting results are non-binding and cannot directly alter Putin's re-election outcome, it offers Russians a channel to voice critical opinions—especially significant at a time when dissenters face severe risks.
